WELCOME PASTOR ADAM DAVIDSON!
Portage Free Methodist Church is excited to announce that Pastor Adam Davidson has been appointed to PFMC as Lead Pastor. Pastor Adam, his wife Emily, and their three children: Lexi, Mac, and Zac, will be joining us June 24.  The PFMC Leadership Team will plan several opportunities for you to meet the Davidson's in the next few weeks. Until then, they asked that you begin praying for these specific requests from Pastor Adam:  
  • for the right housing situation to emerge, what's to be done with our current house, and where to land in West Michigan.
  • For Emily, as she manages a half-packed up house and prepares for our transition.
  • for the kids as they get ready for new schools and a new neighborhood.
  • for the greater Kalamazoo area, that the Lord would continue to move and draw people to Him at PFMC. 

Your PFMC Leadership Team would like to invite you to an all church prayer time, Wednesday, June 6, at 7:30 PM in the church sanctuary, with future prayer times to be announced.  We hope you will join us as we lift up the Davidson's, PFMC, and the community up in prayer.

Congratulations to Pastor Kevin and Cathy DeVries on their re-appointment to a Associate Pastor at Portage Free Methodist Church.  We are so glad you are here!

 

Csanad and Debbie Batizy announce the birth of their grandbaby, Micah Leonard Mills was born on May 30 around 7:39 am.  He entered the world at 7 pounds 15 ounces.  Angela, Joel and Micah are doing well. Congratulations!

 

Congratulations to John and Lynda Haskins on the birth of their first grandson to Heather and Nick!  Lane Nicholas Bergquist entered the world at 11:58 am June 3.  He weighs 6 lb 13 oz and is 20 inches long.

KPEP Drivers Needed - Drivers needed for Sunday mornings to transport KPEP residents to and from 11:00 a.m. Sunday service.  Driving and background criminal checks and volunteer application required.  Please contact office to obtain application.  Contact Dale Kreh, 668-2969, if you have any questions.

FIRE STUDENT MINISTRIES: 

June 6- JR Teens- 6th grade Welcome Night- 6:30-8:30pm- We will welcome in our incoming 6th grade students and their parents for a night of messy game fun. Parents of all Jr Teens are invited and encouraged to come. Wear clothes that can get dirty.
