Greetings!

Recently after I posted a plea for financial support, a friend of mine replied "You are relentless!".  My reply to him was, "No, AIDS is relentless".
Vic Wulsin (founder & Chair) and I recently returned from several weeks in Kenya.  It continues to be apparent that we must be relentless.

We thank you for your support during 2011.  We believe we have been good stewards of your money.  We now ask that you consider one last end-of-the-year gift to SOTENI.

As we went from Village of Hope to Village of Hope and talked to the people that we serve, we were keenly made aware of how critical our work continues  to be and how important it is that it expands.  We must -
  • educate more mothers regarding "mother-child transmission".
  • continue to support orphans in their education.
  • reach more people living with AIDS to provide clean drinking water.
  • educate more youth on the ABCs of sexual behavior.
  • provide staff with the tools needed to carry out responsibilities.
  • pay staff a fair living wage.
  • expand services in our health center.
  • increase the number of AIDS Barefoot Doctors to serve the communities.
  • develop programs that focus on strengthening the girl child.
  • empower even more women in financial practices, their rights & HIV/AIDS.

This is why we are relentless!
PLEASE consider SOTENI for that end-of-the-year donation.  "Sisi sote, pamoja". Together we will continue to make a difference.  Join us in being relentless in the fight against AIDS.

May you have a holiday season and new year filled with peace, joy, and love.
Sincerely and asante sana,

Randie Marsh
SOTENI International Director
