Valentine's Day is a traditional time for saying "I love you!"  to our children and sweethearts!

• A cute, cuddly Valentine's bear costs around $10 US.  In Kenya, the same money can buy two mosquito nets that keep the insects off children while they sleep.

• A glittery heart box of "Esther Price" candy costs up to $32 US.  For the same amount, SOTENI's health center in Mbakalo can test and treat eight people with malaria.  

• "Jones the Florist" lists two dozen long stem red roses and a bottle of Dom Perignon for $250 US.  For the same amount, you can buy over 200 "chicks" for our Poultry Project. These lovely "ladies" provide healthy food for AIDS victims and revenue to keep AIDS orphans in school.

Be extravagant this Valentine's Day!  Splurge on your "big and little" sweethearts AND send some love to Kenya!
