Special Exemption for  those property owners who turned 65 during the year... go by the Tax Assessors Office and file for your over 65 special tax exemption... It is definitely worthwhile to take a moment to do this and all you need to take with you is your drivers license. It is painless!  Also, if you are disabled let the Tax Assessor know!

During the last year I've discovered that we have many existing property owners who have never applied for HOMESTEAD exemption and are paying 50% more taxes than necessary. So, please ensure that you have applied. You can check the on-line land records.
