OUT OF TOWN ON AUG 2nd? VOTE ABSENTEE NOW!  If you are not going to be home on Tuesday, AUGUST 2nd, you can vote ABSENTEE NOW. If a person is UNDER-65 and NOT disabled, they have to vote absentee at the Circuit Clerks Office in CANTON, 128 West North Street. The office is open 8AM-5PM, Mon-Fri, and they will be open Sat, July 23, and Sat, July 30, 8AM - 12AM.

If a person over 65/DISABLED they may call and request application for absentee ballot, and the application signature must be notarized unless disabled. When Circuit Clerk receives the completed application, a ballot is mailed. Unless the person is disabled, the completed ballot must also be notarized.

If a person is already out of town, thus not able to go to Canton, they can call and request an application for a ballot.  Both the application and ballot must be notarized prior to returning to the Circuit Clerk.
