NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF MADISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.
 
     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Madison County Board of Supervisors will meet to consider amending Article XVI, Mannsdale-Livingston Heritage Preservation District.  Public comments will be taken on this matter on the date, time, and location shown below.
 
     NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Madison County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9:00 a.m. on May 18, 2009, at the Madison County Administrative Office Complex Building, in the Madison County Supervisor's Board Room, located at 125 West North Street, Canton, MS, to consider and act upon the matter, and will at such time, date and place, hold and conduct a public hearing at which all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard on the matter, either in person, by petition, or by attorney.
 
     BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MADISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, on this the 6th day of April, 2009.

During the April 6 BOS meeting, it was voted to have a Public Hearing, May 18, to discuss the Mannsdale - Livingston Heritage Preservation District and possibly consider abolishing it. The Mannsdale - Livingston Preservation District is on the Mississippi Heritage Foundation's List of 10 Most Endangered Historic Places
