Kara Zucker
Kara Zucker

Kara Zucker is from Phoenix, Arizona.  She is a political science major, and will graduate in 2010.

Kara was excited to learn about the Certificate in Jewish Studies as she was "eagerly looking for educational opportunities that would allow me to learn about Jewish culture and contribute to my long-term personal and professional goals. I have always been interested in both the historical and cultural aspects of Judaism and enjoy learning from the wide array of classes the Jewish Studies certificate has to offer."

Inspired by concepts of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World), Kara aspires to use her education to make the world a better place. This perhaps involves working in politics or for a non-profit organization - perhaps D.C. is in her future!

Consider a donation to the Program in Jewish Studies to ensure we can continue to help students like Kara  achieve their goals.

Donations can be made  online through the CU Foundation at
