This Week at the Davidson Farmer's Market | |
It's back to school time. Pine Lake, Community School and others already are back to classes and Mecklenburg County Schools start on Monday. Davidson College students are back on campus too, ready to begin their first semesters.
School supplies, dorm room fixings, class schedules, teachers, professors, friends, anticipation and new routines keep our thoughts occupied and bodies hustling to get things done.
A new school year brings a sense of renewing ~ a clean slate; a fresh start; hope and optimism. To keep these bodies and minds focused and fresh, good nourishment is essential.
The Davidson Farmer's Market is a great place to fill yourself with goodness, both inside and out. Farm fresh veggies, fruits, grass fed beef, pork, poultry, eggs, cheese and honey are waiting for you. Music, shoppers, vendors, friends and families demonstrate the strong community bond; filling the Market space every Saturday morning.
Come to the Market and fill your basket (or bucket). Feel the positive energy. Taste the explosion of flavors. Experience the warmth. You'll keep coming back for more.
To see a complete list of Market offerings, follow this link. You may print it and take it to Market.
See ya at the Market,
