The Davidson Farmer's Market is back tomorrow! Bundle-up, grab a mug and walk through the Market for your breakfast and weekly goods.
Not only are you able to buy a significant amount of your weekly groceries, but you can buy special foods and gifts for a special Valentine's Day evening. Visit your Market vendors to see what kinds of heart and belly-warming treats they have to share.
Mark your calendars for the first Breakfast of Champions - a Beer and Brats Brunch, Sat., Feb. 25, 10:30 a.m. noon. The Market and Summit Coffee Co. are partnering to bring you a taste of local sausages, brats and buns and North Carolina beer selections. It's 10:30 a.m. somewhere! That's right - Davidson, NC! Calling all families! The WOW booth is back tomorrow - so stop by and get some information about their upcoming event, The Great Backyard Bird Count, Feb. 17-20. Kids can make a hanger full of nesting materials for the birds.

Triple Play Farm Heals | |
Triple Play Farm, a hidden oasis just a few miles from the Farmer's Market, offers "growth and healing through the power of the horse." The farm is owned by Tom & Kris Batchelor and includes seven chickens, a certified therapy dog, two cats and a herd of five horses. The farm specializes in rare draft horses, including the Norwegian Fjord and the Ardennes horse, of which there are less than fifteen in the United States. Full story here.
