Millstone Makings | |

Just so you know, I am now preparing a sprouted wheat bread and seven-grain light wheat with honey. These breads have the local NC grown organic flours from Lindley Mills. I am also using these flours in my Tuscan sea salt and foccacia as well as a new bread stick called a pizza stick with dried Italian herbs, fresh tomato sauce and parmesan cheese - YUM! Working on Gluten free cupcakes for Valentine's Day (gotta keep Amy from Gilcrest happy)! Also here at the farm we are preparing the greenhouse for early greens, radish, carrots and baby lettuce as well as getting beds ready for leeks, onions and shallots. Also just got 23 new chickens for the farm - very excited to have my girls back laying eggs! Sheep are in the pasture with the Ram hopefully getting some amore for late spring early summer lambs. So there's your Millstone Farm update. Stay tuned.
