Saturday, March 12th, 9am - 12pm
Thank you for your continued support of the DFM Winter market! We've seen record attendance at these bi-monthly markets. March is notorious for being a 'gap' month for produce, but this Saturday we'll have the first spring lettuces (come early!), cooking greens and storage crops, as well as fresh eggs, seafood and a bounty of artisan baked goods, cheeses and handmade pasta and ravioli.
~SEE BELOW FOR A COMPLETE LIST OF FARMS AND MARKET OFFERINGS~
Next market: March 26th 9am - 12pm
April 9th - weekly market begins 8am- 12pm

THE LAVENDER GARDEN RECEIVES RAFI GRANT
Mrs. Rita Rodelli of the Lavender Garden in China Grove told us she has received a $5,000 grant from the Rural Advancement Foundation International to expand her lavender by 500 plants. The lavender harvest in May
is a sight and scent to behold, as are all of the products Rita makes with the buds - bath and body products, lavender bundles and wands, lotions, balms and salves, soaps and culinary lavender. The Lavender Garden will be back at DFM on April 9th. We wish Mrs. Rodelli the best of luck on her farm expansion!
