Carla Hazard Tomaszewski Featured on the Right
Greetings!

On Sunday, March 11 from 1-4 pm, the Polish Pottery Mart will be featuring Carla Hazard Tomaszewski from Poppyfield Press!

Carla is a distinguished pisanki folk artist who will be demonstrating, displaying, and selling her traditional Polish pisanki eggs. We also sell her unique Polish cards and prints in our store which are rich in Polish history and design.  We look forward to having her in our shop again to share her techniques for pisanki egg making!

Carla's pisanki eggs range from $15 to $60, and she will be accepting cash and personal checks for her handcrafted eggs at the event.

As a special treat, the Polish Pottery Mart will celebrating our one year anniversary in our newer, larger location by serving a mazurka cake, "a very special type of cake traditionally baked in Poland for Easter," says Laura and Peter in their Polish Classic Recipes book that contains this recipe. We will also be serving a birthday cake in honor of Erin Cunningham and her mother Janet who are the leap year babies that were featured in our March newsletter!  Erin and Janet will be at the shop around noon.

Be sure to come by for some cake and a chance to see Carla and her traditional Polish pasanki eggs that are available to you this Easter season.

See you soon!

Sincerely,
Jim & Diane Richardson
