I think I blinked and suddenly the holiday season was here! Lots of people have been coming in and planning out their holiday cards and gifts. We have been getting more and more product for the holidays every day. If you need an idea for your holiday greetings this year, we have plenty of classes, kits and are always willing to help you plan out your card.
We have moved our annual Holiday Hoopla to November 14th.
This will give us more time to get in some products that are still on backorder and apologize for the inconvenience. Sometimes we have to roll with the punches. We have two make and takes in store for you this day as well as product demos and big sales!!
In the meantime, we have plenty of new product out in the store. You can be the first to find out about new products by following our blog. We also have some great classes in November, our calendar is literally bursting with classes. You won't want to miss some of our new classes and the return of some of our most popular holiday classes like the Holiday Planner. We also want to thank everyone who came out and supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation on our Pink Day. We had a nice turn out and were able to give a nice donation to the foundation with our raffle ticket sales and pink sales.
We have changed our store hours. On Fridays, we will now be closing at 6p when there is not a crop. So, here are our new store hours:

November 27 & November 28th
We will have big sales these two days so you can buy your crafty friends gifts, stock up for yourself or purchase some last minute supplies for your holiday cards. Details will be posted on The Blog.

Holiday Hoopla - November 14th

 Free Make and Take Event
We have big plans for this event...big, huge, enormous plans!
And we can't spill it all but I can tell you that we have two Make and Takes planned as well as two Design Team Members joining us that day! Here's the schedule so you can plan accordingly:
10a-1:30p
- Beth Pingery from Spellbinders will be here to show you some fun tips and techniques for your Nestabilities and answer any questions you have about the products.
- FREE Make and Take using the Spellbinders Nestabilities to create a fun tag.
1:30p - 5:30p
- Michele Kovack from Crafty Secrets will be here to show off her amazing projects using all the cool Crafty Secrets product including stamps, paper, ephemera and the new Postcard Kits.
- Free Make and Take using Crafty Secrets product to make a Holiday Card.
And I can spill that there are sales, big sales, as well as tons of new product that has been coming in daily! You won't want to miss out since once it is gone, it's gone.

Christmas Flower Soft Workshop
Flower Soft continues to be one of the hottest products in the store and this month we are using it with a Holiday twist. In this unique class we will be creating three cards using stamps, printed cards, 3D images and of course, Flower Soft. I will show you how to work with the 3D images and get the most out of your Flower Soft. These cards will surely be the talk of the holidays with their eye catching dimension.Bring your adhesive and scissors and be ready to create! This class is offered Saturday, November 7th as well as Monday, November 9th.
Etched Holiday Glass Frame
Erin is back on November 17 with a unique holiday project. We'll be making a gorgeous etched glass frame! This will be a perfect addition to any fireplace mantle or wall. It will be done just in time for your holiday decorating. The frame would also be a perfect handmade gift. The finished size of the frame is 10" x 12" and we'll complete the whole project in class, both the etching and the embellishing! Bring your adhesive, sicissors and paper trimmer. We'll provide the rest!
Cricut Club with Cathy
Cathy will be creating Holiday Cards this month! If you want to get better acquainted with your Cricut machine or just put it to good use, then this is the class for you. Cathy will guide you through making 5 cards and share tips and techniques along the way! Please Bring your Cricut with you to class as well as your favorite cartridges
and a basic tool kit with dimensional adhesive (pop dots).
Ornament Workshop
Need a handmade Christmas gift? Want to add a personal touch to your tree this year? In this workshop we will be using stamps, embossing powders and gems to create amazing ornaments that you may not want to give away. This class is offered during the day on November 24th but will also be offered on December 2nd and 5th. Please bring your basic tool kit as well as Red Line/Wonder Tape.
Digital Photography
There is still time to learn how to use your camera before the Holidays start!! Hurry and sign up for this class before you miss all those moments. In this totally hand on class, we will be learning all about our cameras, the auto modes and how to get the best shots. This class will cover all the basics and get you on the road to using all the features on your camera. This class will not be offered again til 2010, so sign up today to get a spot! Please bring your camera, manual and if you have photos you love or hate and would like advice bring those too.

| New Club Forming
Have you been bitten by the ATC bug? Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs, continue to be a popular way for people to sample work by many different artists using different themes, techniques and products. CraftFancy is starting an ATC club in November. Our first meeting will be on November 19th.
Every month, bring 11 ATCs that incorporate the month's theme. Since we are kicking this off in November, anything goes! December ATCs should have a winter theme. All cards must should measure 2-1/2" by 3-1/2". You must include your name and the series number - for example, you make 11 cards for November and then would number them 1 of 11, 2 of 11 and so on. The cards will be swapped in a "round robin" fashion. 10 will be swapped and one will be displayed in the store to inspire other paper crafters.
The club will meet the third Thursday of each month. There is no need to sign up, just drop by with your ATCs! On club night there may be special sales or demos to feed your passion for crafting. The upcoming themes are:
- November 19th - Anything Goes!
- December 17th - Winter
- January 21st - Animals
- February 18th - Love
- March 18th - Green
- April 15th - Spring

Memory B oxThe Memory Box penguin has arrived in Arlington Heights . He (and the she-penguin) are ready to jazz up your paper projects. We have a great selection of the these stamps, as well as other Memory Box items.
Zing! Embossing Powder If you think all embossing powders are created equal, then you haven't tried American Crafts Zing! embossing powder. We were all skeptical, but after watching how well it covers and how amazing the colors are, we couldn't wait to get this product in the store.
Graphic 45 Christmas Past
