First I want to apologize for the lateness of this month's newsletter, I was lucky enough to get a little time off and thus some things have been a little delayed.
Secondly, I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for coming out last month to help us celebrate our 1st birthday! It was a huge success and so fun to see everyone. We especially want to thank all the creative women who came out and shared their talents with everyone for our Make and Takes and demos. It was definitely a weekend packed with inspiration.
The summer is in full swing and we are getting ready to order product for the remainder of the year this month. I can't believe I am already deciding on holiday products, it seems like just yesterday when I picked out the Valentine stuff. Generally new things ordered at the Summer Craft and Hobby Show will begin arriving after August 15th but the release dates vary by company. If you like to stay up to date on new product, subscribe to our blog! And if there is a particular product you are in search for, just call or stop in.

| Copic Marker Classes |

Our Copic clubs and classes are continue to be a hit! If you are interested in these wonderful little tools, this is a great way to get started. During July, Simone will be teaching Basics of Copic Markers and Beyond the Basics of Copic Markers. Simone teaches all Copic classes and has 2 years experience as well as being a Copic Certified Designer.
Basics of Copic Markers
In this class we will cover the basics of
Copic Markers. This is a great way to
get some experience with these awesome tools if you are considering a
purchase. For this class, students will
use the store markers to get some hands on experience. This class will only cover the basic coloring techniques with Copics. We will cover the
basics to get you started and will be coloring hand stamped images. The
store will supply all materials for this class, including markers for class
use. This class will be offered on July 23rd, at 11 AM and again at 6 PM.
Beyond the Basics of Copic Markers
Now that you've taken Basics of Copic Markers you are going to want to learn
more! Well, then this class is for
you. We will be continuing where we left
off learning how to blend shade and all the other great techniques using Copic Markers. This class is purely
technique based just like the Basics class and builds on the skills we covered
in the first class, so be sure to bring your markers (if you own any) and come
ready to be amazed with more possibilities with these amazing tools. The
store will supply all materials for this class, including markers for class
use. This class will be offered on July 29th, at 11 AM and again at 6 PM.

Here are just a few of the new products we have in store...
BasicGrey Lemonade
This paper collection is delectable! The names of the individual papers are a kalidascope of summer - Splash, Saltwater Taffy and Pretty Petal. There are die-cuts, woolies (totally cute layered felt stickers) and maybe the cutest favor boxes ever (they fold into little birds!). However, you have to see the laser cut cardstock. To the right is berry Swiss Dot. It completely coordinates with the patterned papers and will take your breath away. We don't have much of this awesome product on hand, so stop by soon!
Flower SoftWe added Flower Soft to our inventory in time for our June Birthday Bash. These amazing little pots of colored sprinkles bring new life to your stamped images. We have several different colors available, as well as the Flower Soft glue. The glue is high tack PVA glue and comes in a very convenient applicator. While you are in, make sure to check out the Flower Soft stamps. These stamp sets are the perfect way to spotlitght the color and dimension a little sprinkle of Flower Soft can add to your cards.
A Muse Winter Stamps
What do skating squirrels, graceful cardinals and snow forts have in common? Not much except they are among the great new stamps A Muse releasing this month. Our order should be arriving any day now, so call or stop by. These stinkin' cute stamps are always very popular and fly off the shelves. It won't be long before we are all working on our holiday cards and these new stamps will make the job fun and quick! A Muse also has new sheer polka dot ribbons and wood grain paper that is going to be a sure hit this holiday card making season.
