Before and After Kitchen Redo
Inviting Interiors - a micro-business established in 2011 offers affordable home redesign, home staging, and related services. Owner, Laurie Cargill, says home design is about creating functionality, beauty and warmth with furniture and decor that clients already own and love which drastically reduces the financial investment.
Laurie worked with several SCORE mentors where she received valuable assistance in benchmarking and business planning. Additionally, a wealth of information useful to Laurie was utilized via SCORE's website related to new business compliance, building a team of advisors and business planning and marketing - all things she says really helped her get her business off the ground. She continues to receive marketing assistance from SCORE counselor, Angella Luyk. Laurie also attended several SCORE workshops and just recently completed a redesign project for someone she met at one of these workshops!
