Two local small businesses recognized  

by Greater Rochester SCORE 

 

Joe Pollizzi, Owner of  Redi Reach, LLC invented the Fridge Tamer, a swing-out shelf which fits into any refrigerator and enables quick access to hard to reach items.  

 

SCORE counselor Henry West worked with Joe providing him with engineering expertise as well as business perspective.  Joe has sold over 37,000 units on QVC with plans to take his product into retails stores.  Read more.


Patrick Bodell, Owner of Simply New York Marketplace & Gifts open a unique store in Irondequoit where every one of the products he sells is made in New York.   

After attending a SCORE workshop he met with SCORE counselors Dave Kidd and Larry Wirth who helped him focus the business, consider new ideas and stay on track.  Read more.


Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks was the keynote speaker at the awards luncheon held in February at Oak Hill Country Club when the awards were presented.  Additional presenters included Bill Ritter, SCORE District Director and Doug Mabon, Greater Rochester SCORE Chapter Chairman.  The awards luncheon was attended by over 50 SCORE chapter members who enthusiastically congratulated the accomplishments of both recipients.
