Success Stories School Rocks!
Rachel Weeks started her college clothing manufacturing business while in Sri Lanka on a U.S. Fulbright Grant. With very limited access to resources and mentors from her base in Colombo, c onnecting with a U.S. SCORE counselor helped her navigate the difficult terrain of early-stage decisions.
"It was amazing to be collaborating with someone from 10,000 miles away who had such a commitment to helping me get my apparel business off the ground. Three years later, our company has 100 university customers across the United States and Canada and supports more than 2,000 American jobs through our Made in America supply chain. I will always be grateful to SCORE, my counselor Jim Fields, and to the Small Business Administration for making this important program possible." Find out more.

Success Stories
To Market, To Market

Launching a new product is a daunting task. In addition to the planning, accounting, reporting and recordkeeping requirements of any business, you also have to handle product design and development, sourcing, manufacturing, branding, marketing and distribution. Linda Anderson connected with the Phoenix SCORE office after hearing from a fellow inventor how much SCORE helped her in taking her product to market.
"Using SCORE has helped my small business, LS Designs, compete in a marketplace filled with larger companies with more resources. Sometimes the SCORE executives, with their real-life and varied experience, have provided an answer to a specific question, and sometimes they simply reassure me I am on the right track." Find out more.
