 Bay trail Middle School and SCORE Announce the 2011 Larry H. Clarke Jr. Entrepreneurship Awards | |
Greater Rochester SCORE and Bay Trail Middle School, Penfield announce the annual Larry H. Clarke Jr. Entrepreneurship Award given to seventh grade students who have exhibited exceptional work in the Entrepreneurship Unit during their Home and Career Skills class. SCORE instituted this award in 2006 in memory of Larry H. Clarke Jr., a long time SCORE volunteer.
The 2001 Clark Award winners were Nicholas Lahue, Abigail Benkovich, Rebecca Nungesser and Julia Esse. Presentation of the award was made by Robert Zinnecker, SCORE Counselor. Mrs. Johanna McKeever, Home & Career Skills teacher, worked with the late Mr. Clarke from the inception of the program and said, "The Clarke award honors the spirit of community service - one of our foundational principles at Bay Trail."
