In The News . . .
September 27, 2010: President Obama signed the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010. The bill will help small businesses expand and hire by cutting their taxes and creating a $30 billion loan fund.
September 7, 2010: Empire State Development (ESD) today announced it has given assistance to three companies in the Finger Lakes region, Macauto USA, Inc., EnerPath, Inc. and Steel & O'Brien Manufacturing, Inc., in order to retain and grow their operations. The small businesses will invest a combined total of $2.7 million in Monroe and Wyoming counties, retaining 56 existing jobs and creating an additional 63 full-time positions. Read more
