Each year Campus Ministry holds a food drive, encouraging us to help fill the local food shelves. This year's Food Drive was an amazing success! The little glass room at the top of fifth floor has been transformed into "Food Drive Central" and this afternoon the entire student body will be dismissed early to enjoy a movie together because they reached their long-shot goal of 3000 items, collecting over 3,100 items for Catholic Charities and the St. Joseph Food Shelf. It's so easy to be thankful for the students, staff and faculty that we have here at Saint John's Prep, when you see their generosity and sense of community in action. We wish all the best to you this week as you celebrate Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

Alumni- have you logged in to PAN? |  This is the perfect weekend to try it out! Want to print out a class list for Christmas cards or e-greetings? Login to the PAN today and spread some cheer! By now, if you are an alum, you should have received a letter which gives you your ID number and instructions on how to register. If not, please email Brenda Brown and she will help you login. Also- don't forget to upload your resume and if you are looking for an amazing addition to your staff, post your opening on the PAN. |

Christmas at Saint John's - always Dec 28! |
Young alums- and heck, everyone else, too! - make plans to head over to  the Boys' Dorm (Saint Michael Hall) on Tuesday, December 28 for the annual Christmas at Saint John's Stand-Up. You are home from college, the presents are opened, you've spent time with the family, now reconnect with your friends from Prep. We build a warm fire and throw open the doors at 6 p.m. with pizza, pop and OJA for the 21+ crowd. Visit with the faculty and staff, reminisce over yearbooks and view the class composites with over 100 of your Prep friends. Please RSVP your attendance with Mary Ritter so we can order enough pizza! |

Alumni Career Day presenters needed | Every other year we hold an Alumni Career Day at Prep. This is a fun and informative day where students explore career choices with alums. This year it will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 and we need alum presenters!
We wrap up the day with a Seniors vs. Alumni basketball game, so come out to cheer on your classmates or play. If you have questions or are interested in participating, please email Mary Jo Leighton '80 at mleighton@csbsju.edu or Brenda Brown at bbrown@csbsju.edu. |
