Brenda Brown, Director of Advancement |
It is less than two weeks until school starts and we will soon be starting our continuous 154th year of gifting the world with bright, thoughtful adults guided by Benedictine values.
This will be another incredible year for Prep. We are right on track for our budgeted goal of 305 students, we finished up last fiscal year slightly into the black and we have an amazing faculty and staff who are ready to kick off the year with workshops next week.
This fall we welcome six exciting and innovative educators! One of the new faculty is our new jazz and stings instructor, Jeff Engholm. Jeff wears many hats as an instructor, bassist, singer, songwriter, engineer, conductor, and producer. For the past thirteen years, Jeff has developed and shared his talents with the George Maurer Group, Rockhouse Productions and Hunny Nut Studios. Not only is he a professional musician who has played at numerous venues, he also taught at both the K-12 and college level. We were fortunate to have him work with our students last year during Steve Anderson's extended medical absence. I can't imagine how amazing our jazz band will sound at Fisher's Club this spring!
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we begin another year!
Benedictine Peace!
