Greetings!

What happened to Prep Life?!

Fair question! Prep Life is at SJU Mailing Services right now and you will be receiving it very soon (my parents got theirs yesterday) just in time for weekend reading. With the transition this fall in the Advancement Office, we needed to focus on immediate tasks. However, I know that you'll see that this issue was worth the wait! We have expanded the issue to 32 pages, upgraded the paper and photography and with our new Editorial Board, you will find engaging and informative articles throughout. With a larger issue and improved email communication, we have decided to publish Prep Life three times a year, look for future issues in May, September and January.

As Marti Jacobs will be the new Editor of Prep Life, I'm sure she would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for even greater improvement. Please email her at mjacobs@csbju.edu once you've had the chance to peruse it.

Benedictine Peace!
Brenda

Looking to Learn a String Instrument?
If you have ANY interest in learning how to play a string instrument (including guitar or mandolin), please remember that we have a GREAT program being offered through our school called, PREP STRINGS.  The instructor and professional performer is Cristina Seaborn .  We are so fortunate to provide new and seasoned players with such quality instruction.  Mrs. Seaborn just returned from a performance tour in Australia for the Parliament of World's Religions in Melbourne.

If you are even the slightest bit interested and/or if you want additional information, please contact Steve Anderson at sandserson@csbsju.edu or call 320-363-3315.  Lessons are being organized.  In addition, all students can participate in group rehearsals for a performance in April.  The theme for this semester's concert is Swedish Folk and Fiddle Music.

Hope you can join us!
