Assist in the contruction of HCC's first-ever sustainable vegetable garden! Using recycled materials, create garden management structures such as wind chimes and pinwheels. The week concludes with planting day. Children should dress in "dirt-friendly" clothes.

Don't let your kids spend the summer planted on the couch watching TV and playing video games! Come to HCC for art, creative writing, yoga, and gardening activities designed to instill respect for self, community, and the planet. Includes daily yoga practice, making use of the HCC sustainable garden, writing and art projects.

Assist in the maintenance and harvest of HCC's sustainable garden; participate in community food initiatives; and develop at-home eco-friendly action plans. Daily yoga, creative writing and art will also be incorporated in this program.
