Why is skin care important?
Your face, from your skin to your smile, gives the first impression to everyone you meet. Why not make every first impression a glowing, healthy one? While initially a full skin care regimen may seem daunting, we have compiled some tips and tricks to take the mystery out of maintaining a healthy complexion.
- Just because we're no longer sunbathing doesn't mean we can forget the sunscreen. Wearing an SPF every day is imperative to ensuring your skin is protected even when you think you may not need it. Use a daily moisturizer with added SPF to take the worry away!
- Pat dry. After washing your face, gently pat or blot your skin with a towel so that some moisture remains on your skin.
- During the cooler seasons, some heating systems will blast dry air. Humidifiers help your skin by releasing more moisture in the air, which helps your skin hold in the hydration.
- Experiment with making masks at home! Using hydrating ingredients like oatmeal, honey, egg whites, yogurt, or pumpkin (a fall favorite!), customizing your preference for facial masks has never been easier.
