Meditation to Shrug Off Depression and Fly High

Meditation Wahay Sometimes things can seem a little bleak when we forget who we are and lose sight of the fact that the whole Universe has our backs. This Meditation is simple to execute but profound in its implications.

Flex your hands, palms facing forward, with your index fingers and thumb-tips meeting. Extend your arms parallel. Inhale deeply and chant:
Wha Hay Guru
. Inhale deeply and chant again. Elongate the sound to match your breath capacity. Continue in this manner for 11 min. Your eyes are 1/10 open looking down and in towards the tip of the nose. To end, inhale deeply, stretch your arms up and shake them. Relax the breath and sit in silence for at least a minute before resuming normal activity.

Wahay is a Cosmic Wow, the spontaneous exclamation of joy which occurs when we break through the veil which keeps our perceptions in shadow. Wahay Guru derives from the same sacred sounds which gave rise to the biblical Hallelujah (Hebrew for, "Praise Jah)." Guru is that which brings us from darkness to light (from the Sanskrit: Gu: darkness, Ru, Light) aka Wisdom, Guidance, and Grace. This meditation helps us to break through the cloud cover of limiting mental concepts and fly high into the light and air of the Eternal Self. Delve into this sound. Wahay Guru is the mantra of the mind and helps us to experience the beautiful sacred silence of Self. For most people, life is like being at a noisy party at which you can barely hear yourself think or talk, let alone hear what other people are saying. It's good to go out onto the patio and commune with the stars and to immerse yourself in the greater scheme of things. During this Holiday Season, especially when Mercury is in retrograde (or stationary), listen to your soul, speak from your soul, and communciate with the souls of others.
