Don't be discouraged by a less than perfect photo. If it has something in it that you feel is worth remembering, accompanied by something you'd rather not see - or another element from different photo you'd like combined, just upload and explain what you'd like to see in the proof.

Every proof is accompanied by an e-mail that explains, among other things, that you should "Be sure to check the close-up details to see the painting technique texture. The amount of brushstroke texture can be adjusted to be more or less realistic, depending on your tastes." This is important because some people like a painting to be very loose, with a lot of brushstroke texture whereas some prefer a very tight, almost photographic painting. And that's exactly what the proofing system allows us to do, to make sure your painting is exactly what you want.
