Monthly Handbook Contest
All Pet Care Professionals are responsible for knowing and following the Pet Care Procedures Manual and the Employees' Handbook. Here's a contest to help learn the policies and procedures. Answer the question correctly and be entered to win a $25 gas card. Email your answer to Johna. All correct responses received by 5 pm Monday January 10 will be entered in a drawing to win. Employees who work full-time in the office are not eligible to win.
January's Question has two parts:
a) Send exactly what the Pet Care Procedures says about what time you must mark you visits online as "Completed" each day.
b) According to the Employee Handbook, what can happen to an employee who willfully violates or disregards company policy and procedure, such as consistently not marking their visits complete?
Pet CPR/First Aid Training
The next company-sponsored Pet First Aid and CPR class will take place on Sunday, Sunday January 30 from 2 - 6 pm at the Community Business Partnership. This is the same location that we held our holiday party in December. The address is: 7001 Loisdale Rd, Suite C, Springfield, VA 22150; on the second floor.
The class is free for employees and it is a perfect opportunity to better your skills as Pet Care Professionals. The class is limited to 15 participants. Space will be allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please RSVP as soon as possible by sending an email to Emily at emily@beckyspetcare.com no later than Thursday, January 20th.

1) Customer Care Specialist II - Full-time (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) Monday-Friday at the main office
2) Customer Care Specialist II - Part-time (10:00 am - 1:00 pm) Saturday & Sunday, alternating weekends at the main office
Both positions require excellent customer service skills, strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, excellent time management and organization skills with extreme attention to detail, flexibility & good attendance a must. If interested, contact Johna.
