Arianne is a very sweet cat who settles into her surroundings very well. She is cute, very gentle, and is happy to be with you...laying next to you on the couch, playing and sleeping on your bed! She loves to be cuddled. Arianne will do best in an active home where she is the only pet.

Animal Welfare League of Arlington will be holding the 15th Annual Walk for the Animals to help raise money for homeless animals in our community. It's a 3 mile walk or a 1 mile stroll. Becky's Team AwLA

It will be lots of fun! Come walk with us and enjoy the fresh air while spending time with your favorite two- and four-legged friends.

The American Humane Association created Be Kind to Animals Week in 1915 to celebrate the unique bond between humans and animals. Every year during the first full week of May, animal shelters and rescues throughout the country hold special events during this special week to raise awareness about Being Kind to Animals, and to teach people about the amazing role animals play in our lives. Be Kind to Animals Week is celebrated this year from May 2-8. This is the 95th year for the commemoration of the role animals play in our lives, promote ways to treat them humanely and to encourage others, especially children, to do the same.
