Ohr Eliyahu Advisory: Please be advised that there was an attempted purse snatching from one of our employees at about 7:15 this morning on Sycamore between Beverly and 1st Street. Baruch HaShem no property was stolen and no one was hurt.
LAPD advises that while such perpetrators are targeting valuables, not people, it is advisable for all people, young and old, walking in the area, to walk in groups or have a buddy. In the event of another attempted purse snatching they advise to yell and physically resist, as our employee did, and this often causes the perpetrator to flee, as in this case.
