As reported in the Los Angeles Times today, data compiled by the LAPD and analyzed by the Times shows that Hancock Park and 12 other areas have experienced a significant rise in violent and property crimes.
For the Hancock Park area, four violent crimes were reported for the week of July 17 - July 23, compared with the area's weekly average of 0.8 over the last three months. Click here or on the map to see where and when these crimes took place.

Recently I took on the position of Chairman of the Parent Committee for our local school. The committee has decided to have a Sefer Torah written in memory of the soldiers from the lower Galilee who have died.
