Mr. Wagner's Letter
Greetings!
As part of the formation process to become permanent deacons, the candidates are required to give 'mini-homilies' on readings from our prayer book. Last month it was my turn.
These were my thoughts on a reading from the prophet Ezekiel:
"I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols." (Ezekiel 36:25)

Judges selected 214 national winners in the 2011 Herff Jones and Quill and Scroll Yearbook Excellence Contest - of those 214, Guerin Catholic brought home 4! A total of 1,505 entries were evaluated - this is an outstanding accomplishment for our yearbook staff. National Winners from last year's staff were Senior Editor Meagan Schneider for our "Sponsors" section, and for photography, senior Yousun Lee won 2 - a homecoming/school spirit photo and women's soccer photo, and now junior and editor Colleen Peregrin for her photo from Baccalaureate entitled "Priests and Crucifix." Congratulations to these dedicated and talented journalists!

Help Needed at Lucas Oil Events
As Guerin Catholic prepares to work at the last two Lucas Oil Stadium events this year, volunteers are needed to assist the Women's Soccer Team on March 3, 2012 at the Monster Jam and the Cheerleading Squad on March 17, 2012 for the Super Motor Cross.
Adult Volunteers with TIPS licenses are needed for both events, as well as adults to be cashiers and students to work food prep and serving.
