Students released at 2:30 p.m.
The 2:30 p.m. early release for students (to allow for an extended faculty meeting) originally scheduled for February 7 has been postponed to February 14.
Game of the Week
Be sure to get to the Eagles Nest tonight as the Golden Eagles host Brebeuf in Men's & Women's Basketball and will be featured as the VYPE game of the week!! Also, please consider bringing a pair of new athletic shoes to support Samaritan's Feet!! Men's Head Coach Pete Smith will be coaching barefoot in support of this worthy cause for the fourth year in a row. Tip off for the women is at 6 p.m. with the men's game following. We expect a large turnout so please plan to arrive early!!

Service Opportunities
Volunteers are needed to work at the St. Elizabeth Seton Mardi Gras and Mardi de Montfort at St. Louis de Montfort.
St. Elizabeth Seton: Volunteers would be needed for set-up from 10-2 PM on February 18th. Contact

It would be wonderful if students from these two parishes would volunteer at these events.
The St. Elizabeth Seton Preschool and Kindergarten is looking for volunteers for our upcoming carnival on Friday, January 27 - 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 and Saturday, January 28 - 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Jobs Include moving tables and chairs from the basement, taping off game areas, setting up games, and other tasks as directed. Can Use up to 20 people. Volunteers for Saturday should come dressed in spiritwear from their school. Students are not to use wireless devices while volunteering. Students volunteering on Saturday need to interact with children in an outgoing and fun manner. From 3 to 3:30 p.m. volunteers will assist with taking down the carnival and some lifting will be required (putting chairs and tables back in the basement). Interested students should respond to Tracy Schnase at tracy.schnase@seas-carmel.org or at 816-0045.

Dad's Day Breakfast
The next Dad's Day Breakfast will take place on Friday, January 27, at 6:15 a.m. and will feature Josh Bleill, who while serving in Iraq was severely injured, resulting in the loss of both of his legs. After extensive rehabilitation, Bleill returned to Indiana in August of 2008, where he attacked his new life head-on. This new life included employment as the Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson. (Click here for full bio)
