Sacred Heart of CiceroWe had a great response from students today as we collected food for Fr. Dale's parish pantry---Sacred Heart in Cicero. We will again be collecting food next Friday, November 18. Items needed at Sacred Heart are spaghetti sauce, canned meat, mac & cheese, toilet paper, cereal, peanut butter, hamburger helper, beef stew, vegetable soup, spaghetti o's or Ravioli. Send in donations with your students next Friday as we will have a truck parked in front of school and load the items directly into the truck before the start of school. Thanks in advance for your help!!
Groundbreaking
Join us on Sunday, November 20, from 3-4:30 p.m. for an official groundbreaking ceremony for our new academic wing. The ceremony will begin with a procession from the grotto. Light refreshments will be provided as a gift to the Guerin Catholic Family by Chef Vincent Kinkaid and U.S. Foods. Please RSVP with the total number in your party planning on attending to Connie McShane, assistant to President Paul Lunsford at cmcshane@guerincatholic.org. Please RSVP by November 13.
Stay tuned to the Guerin Catholic Updates for more information. We anticipate the entire ceremony to be held outside but will make the necessary adjustments based on the weather.
