Due to the high volume of traffic expected on Sunday, June 5th @ Guerin Catholic for Commencement parking instructions will be as follows:
Faculty and Staff will park along the back drive as they have all year long.
Students should park in the grass area south of the parking lot (if they are not arriving with their parents)
Mark you calendars now and plan on attending the Meet the Administrator Night scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. in the Guerin Catholic Gymnasium. The annual "Meet the Administrators" Night is geared toward incoming Freshmen parents. Guerin Catholic administrators will be on hand to give a brief description of their roles as well as answer any questions parents may have. We look forward to meeting each of you!

Summer 2011 Reading List
All Guerin Catholic students, including new freshmen, are required to participate in the Summer Reading program. Students choose one book and a project from a wide variety of genres and interests. Parent Guild Book/Uniform Sale
Guerin Catholic Parent Guild will host its FIRST of TWO Used Book and Uniform Sales on Tuesday, June 7 at Guerin Catholic. The Parent Guild will "buy back" books from 10am-1pm in the ACADEMIC WING of the school. The sale of books and uniforms will be from 4pm-7pm, also in the Academic Wing of the school. Forms and a summary of "tips" were sent home with all Guerin Catholic students, via their KAIROS, last Friday, May 20. Also, please see Dr. Dispenzeri's notes on Guerin Updates regarding Buying and Selling Books and the all important BOOK LIST. Model Rocket Club
Guerin Catholic is starting a competitive Model Rocket Club. The objectives of the Club includes learning the science behind rocket flight, applying the knowledge through building and testing rockets, and competing in TARC, a nationwide contest of 7th to 12th grade students (a contest which includes prizes such as a trip to France for the winning team, $70K+ in scholarship monies, and trips to NASA and/or the White House).
We are especially recruiting current and incoming Freshmen students as it will require a significant long-term commitment. Please contact Mr. Ross

Carmel Marathon-June 11, 2011
The Inaugural Carmel Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2011. There are numerous volunteer opportunities for Guerin Catholic students and/or their parents. From Bag Check to Guest Services and Volunteer Check-In to Transportation.
Some of the benefits you will receive as a volunteer:
- Carmel Marathon Championship Weekend credential for access into the event.
- Free parking with shuttle service to your work area.
- Championship Weekend t-shirt.

City of Noblesville
Want a chance to win an HDTV while earning some easy and fun volunteer hours? Want to get free food as well? The Noblesville July 4Festival is looking for volunteers to work a two hour shift at the festival on Monday, July 4. You're going to watch fireworks on July 4 anyway, right? So why not volunteer with your friends for 2 hours at the festival before seeing the fireworks display!
Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of jobs-from setting up to helping with the kids' activities to scoring ladder golf games and more. Two HDTV's will be up for a volunteers-only raffle. Volunteer for one shift and you get one raffle ticket, volunteer for two shifts and you get three tickets. At the end of the night, two lucky names will be drawn (you do not need to be present to win). Volunteers will also receive a food voucher for free food and soda/water to be used at one of the festival's food vendor booths.

Need service hours? The SetonFest Committee at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is in need of your help with setting up and tearing down for their annual SetonFest!! Help is needed setting up on Tuesday, July 26th starting at 9:30 a.m. unti finished. Teardown help will be needed on Sunday, July 31st beginning at 9:00 a.m.
