Anti-Japanese Protests Now Widespread
Last week at least 50 cities saw anti-Japanese protests over the disputed Senkaku fishing islands, with reports of violence coming from many. "There may be a coordinated effort going on here between protestors and the central government," says analyst Jason Ma in this week's China Focus.

He spoke of China's development securing peace for the world, but asserted the importance of territorial sovereignty, a likely reference to the now-heavily disputed Senkaku fishing islands, which Japan claims.
