Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners marched and rallied in Washington, DC last week to mark 13 years of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party.
US Congresspeople and officers from various NGOs joined the practitioners in calling for an end to crimes against humanity in China.
Two full days of events culminated with a touching candlelight vigil at the Washington monument that honored those practitioners murdered by the CCP.

At least 40 people were arrested in northeastern China for installing satellite dishes aimed at NTD programming. One man was arrested en route to a dish installation job while many others were abducted from their homes.
Authorities fear NTD because of the social and political issues raised in its news and analysis programs.
The arrests were part of a large-scale, coordinated effort that largely targeted Falun Gong practitioners, reported the Falun Gong website Minghui.org. According to at least one Chinese lawyer, no laws were broken and the abductions are, therefore, illegal.
