NTD launches New English language China blog
This month NTD launched a new China blog. This English language China blog will feature expert analysis, translated commentary on current events from Chinese netizens, as well as fun and interesting stories related to culture and entertainment.
"I'm excited about this new China blog because it's a way for NTD to go beyond the limitations of the traditional TV news format-and give our readers on the web deeper analysis and commentary," says Matt Gnaizda, VP of Multilanguage Programming.
"It's an opportunity to really dive further below the surface, including by integrating what we call 'Forbidden News,' which is the real stuff happening on the ground, the stories you probably aren't going to hear about from China's state-run media or from other Western media," he says.

NTD Launches iNews Service for Mainland Chinese
This month NTD launched iNews-an internet platform allowing Mainland Chinese to send breaking news and information censored in China to audiences overseas. Chinese users can upload video, audio and text about current events in China and share it with the world. This new website also allows NTD to verify and report on selected stories that would otherwise be buried in China.
In China, suppression and censorship of reporting on issues such as the spread of epidemics, persecution of citizens, food and environmental contaminations threaten not only residents in China but also have ramifications abroad. We believe services like iNews, which break through this censorship, will help protect the health and safety of all people around the world.
