NACCHO's HIV/STI Prevention "Tool of the Week"                                      This week's tool from NACCHO's Toolbox is a resources called Serving HIV Positive Youth, published by Advocates for Youth.
HIV and STI Prevention Benefits of Circumcision Reduced for MSM
A meta-analysis published in the October 8, 2008 edition of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) found that studies of male circumcision provided insufficient evidence that circumcised men who have sex with men have a lower risk of acquring HIV and STIs. CDC Releases Disease Profile   
This report, published jointly by members of the Surveillance Work Group within the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), including the Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention, Viral Hepatitis, STD  Prevention, and TB Elimination, provides surveillance estimates for HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STDs and tuberculosis.
