On my way home on the train from the New York Gift Show, I picked up a copy of the New York Times and realized my favorite cooking columnist, Mark Bittman, will no longer be writing his "Minimalist" column for the Wednesday Times. However, I was happy to learn why: Part of my reasoning in going to the opinion section [of the Times] is to advocate, essentially, for eaters' rights.
