A New Installment from Doodletown Farm
Installment #3 - "Coming Up With A Plan" The easy part was done. We had cleaned up and restored the front of
the house. And we repainted it, too. From the road, it looked pretty
good. Now we could take a break and think about what we would like to
do longer term to make it a 21st Century/18th Century house. But...we needed a plan.

Trade Secrets - A Wonderful Weekend for a Wonderful Cause!
They haven't finished counting, but this year's Trade Secrets looks
like it will be their best ever with record attendance and buying!
Just with early morning buying alone, which carries a $100 ticket fee
was twice as many as last year with over 400 people entering the show
at 8:00 a.m.

Cody's Coop: A great father-son project for the summer
I work at the Barn with some really wonderful young Moms. They often
talk about what's going on with their kids and families and now and
then I hear something that really piques my interest. Michele
McCarthy, one of our Barn co-Managers (who has worked for me for 10
years) told me about a project her husband, Mike, and her son, Cody are

 This recipe came from last Saturday's "Farm to Table Dinner and Demo"
with Job Yacubian of The Farmer's Wife. It was pronounced delicious by
all 18 attendees! I would have gotten a photo of the soup but I was
too busy eating it!
