One of those people was Paul Higgins from WKZE radio. His wife, Jerrice Baptiste (pictured here) who hosts & produces Women of Note on WKZE is originally from Haiti and has a large extended family (of over 40) in and around Port au Prince. Women of Note will be hosting a Benefit Concert on Monday, January 25th at the Rhinecliff Hotel to raise money for her family who are in desperate need of help. I know I'll be there! I have been a huge fan of Taryn & Tim Cocheo since they were at The Bottle Tree in Ancram, NY. To their Ancram fans' dismay, they announced last fall they were
closing The Bottle Tree but we soon learned they were headed to
Millerton to take up residence in Simmon's Way (across from The Movie
House). Well, Ancram's loss is Millerton's gain and we're grateful
they're still close by.
Chef Tim Cocheo has an impressive background (La Caravelle and Wallse in NYC and Wheatleigh in Lenox, MA) and it shows: "He brings a haute cuisine mindset to country cooking" says the very astute Dan Shaw at Rural Intelligence. Read more about No. 9 here...
