 WKZE EMAIL ABOUT WALMART PICKING ON "MOM & POP" INSPIRES AN OP-ED!
Our account rep at WKZE, Paul Higgins, sent me an email telling us about a new Walmart commercial that all the area radio stations had been running. In it, Walmart is promoting the
death of local, independent businesses by promising that if you bring
them the ad from a local competitor, they'll match or beat the price.
That got me to thinking about a film I saw last week at Upstate Films in Rhinebeck - "Capitalism: A Love Story". The more I thought about it, the more upset I got. Click here to read my op-ed.

 CLAY RICE IS A BIG HIT AT HAMMERTOWN RHINEBECK!
If you were to have visited Hammertown Rhinebeck last Saturday you
would have found the store chock full of kids and their parents all
waiting for appointments with renowned silhouette artist Clay Rice. Within 2 minutes he would look at the childrens' profiles and cut
away ... no shadow tracing or drawing of lines, he simply looked at the
kids and cut their silhouettes, it was incredible. See more pictures here...
