On Saturday June 13th from 6-8, we are having a discussion and book signing for Michael Gross author of a brand new book Rogues' Gallery: The Secret History of the Moguls and the Money that made the Metropolitan Museum. Pat Beard, friend and local author will be interviewing Michael about the book as well as his experience with "libel tourism". So come by, have a drink, buy a book and have a bite. ROAD TO NUTRITION

A casual meeting at the store one afternoon with Caroline Phipps has led me on a new journey.

Caroline, a health counselor, had stopped by the store to leave some of her brochures.  We started to talk, and I clearly became very interested in what she was saying.  I went home that evening and read the brochure.  Without sounding too "new-agey" it really got me thinking about the relationship between food, emotions & spirituality...more

There's something universal about food -- we all have to eat -- but there's also something wonderful going on right now here in the Hudson Valley.
