Recipe of the Week:
Jane Holden Adams' Rhubarb Stew

This recipe originally came from Janet Holden Adams.  Janet was known for being intelligent, quirky, eccentric and an avid and enthusiastic gardener. Not only did she grow her own rhubarb she helped countless local people with their gardens as well.  This Saturday's Pine Plains Garden Club Plant Sale takes place at her old house across from Peck's.   Get the recipe by clicking here.

Joan's Best Bets in Books

There are so many books in the store that I love.  Cookbooks, design books, kids' books, lifestyle books -- even some NY Times bestsellers (like "House of Cards" by local author, William Cohan).  For the next two weeks I'd like to share our Hammertown "library" with you AND we'll take 15% off any book in our store.  All you have to do is tell us you saw it here or on our website!  Click here for more...

That's all for this week.  Hope to see you soon!
