We've had it with media overkill on the state of our economy.  Even my favorite section of The New York Times sent me into a spin this week with this headline --

So, we've decided we are going to JUST STOP IT.  We're not going to participate by talking about it anymore.  From now on, we want our blog, our website and our stores to be a respite...an oasis for you in today's Bad News Desert because you, our customers, have been wonderful. 
You keep coming into our stores to buy what you can afford or you come just to look.  And, at Hammertown, we think it's always a good time to look...to dream... to sit down in a comfortable chair or sofa with one of our new Home Design books and be transported...let your imagination run wild...even if it's just for an hour.
