Thanks to everyone for your text hugs. They, along with many adventurous customers who visited the Barn today helped make an otherwise taxing time a rejuvenating experience.
Well, the good news is we have our generating up and running to keep us powered until Central Hudson gets us back online (by all accounts, that will be between now and sometime in the near future...how's that for specificity!). Many of our customers braved the cold and sparse daylighting today, but the lights are now on and the Barn is getting warmer as we speak!
The bad news is that due to the numerous logistical problems we've had, we are postponing the book signing event tonight at the Barn. Those of you who make your way over to the Barn will be treated to good cheer and a special holiday gift, but sadly, no authors. Yes, Joan, Jess and Gregg will be holding down the fort at the Barn until this evening, so please do come by if you're in the neighborhood.
