As if things weren't challenging enough already, we got hit with a pretty nasty storm on Thursday that knocked out power out at the Barn. As of 9:45am, Saturday morning, we're still without power, but our backup plan is being executed as we speak. But, it's a beautiful day here in Pine Plains and we expect to be fired up with the help our friends (and a generator) by noon today.
Please forgive the extra email, but we thought we should send this out this email to all those who may be planning on coming to the Barn today to shop or for the signing this evening at 5:30. You can text Joan at 860-329-7282 to get an updated status (and give her a virtual hug!), but we promise we'll be at the store one way or the other for all those making the trip to Pine Plains. ALSO: both Great Barrington and Rhinebeck are open for business as usual.
