And support small and local business, too. These are some of our favorite crafters, artisans and small business folks around NJ. So, if a gift from Celtic Chairde Creations isn't exactly what you're looking for, try one of these fine folks...
Sacred Om Yogo - What better gift than finding a little peace and calm. On Arnold Ave. in Point Pleasant.
Carolyn's Crystal Creations - Beautiful, one of a kind crystal jewelry.
Ewe and Lily- Thoughtful and beautiful rings, earrings, necklaces and anklets for all occasions.
Charlie's Bait & Tackle on Route 35 in Normandy Beach. Beautiful shells, wind chimes, gifts & home decor as well as great gear for the fishing aficionado on your list.
Ducky Life Tea - 'cause it's soooo darn yummy.
Dreaming Tree Soapworks - the most marvelous soaps with such divine scents.
Wickit Good Candles in Point Pleasant. Just walk in and the scents will carry you away.
If you have a favorite local crafter or business that's top on your holiday shopping spots, send me an email and I'll include it in our Last Minute Specials email coming out on the 14th.

Just is Time - Something New!
Bright and relaxing lavender warmed with the richness of vanilla. Add some skin soothing and softening cocoa and shea butte rs with 3 different textures of sugar. Whip it all together and you have the elegant, spirit lifting Lavanilla Creme Whipped Sugar Scrub. Right now this new addition to our sugar scrub line is only available at craft fairs, but look for it to come on to our website just in time for some last minute shopping.
And just in time for the sparkling chill of winter - our Yule Lotion Bar makes it's return! Pepperminty fresh like a winter breeze, but protective and softening for dry winter skin. This will also be available on line after December 14th. But we'll have plenty in stock at our last two events.
We've got a few more surprises planned, so keep an eye on our blog and your email over the next few weeks!

Dazzling December Days
December is full of spirit, merriment, madness, and heart. And it's not just Christmas, Yule, Chanukah, Kwanza or New Years that creates the excitement in the air. Check out these special dates in December.
Friday the 9th - Clarence Birdseye's 125th Birthday. From Brooklyn, NY, this man developed the deep freeze method for food. Vegetables could now be available any time of year. Pretty cool.
14th to January 5th. The Christmas Bird Count. Volunteers from all walks of life and all different locations help the National Audubon Society with it's bird census. For details, check out the Audubon website.
15th to 19th - the Halcyon Days. In ancient times, the Halcyon bird calmed the winds and waves for the seven days before and after the Winter Solstice. Think of this as the time of calm before the whirl wind of activity leading to the end of the year.
21st to 28th - Happy Chanukah!
Wednesday the 21st. Official Humbug day. The day to vent your frustrations and let it all out. 12 humbugs per person.
Thursday the 22nd - Winter officially begins. Happy Yule!
Sunday the 25th - Merry Christmas!
And lastly - but definitely not leastly - Friday, December 30th, a most important, long awaited day - Bacon Day!!!! No really. It's Bacon Day. What better way to round out the year.

There's Still Time to Save New Jersey Wineries...... but not much
I'm from New Jersey, born and bred. And as a group, we do love to do some complaining. For example - we complain about job loss a nd our disappearing open spaces. Now is the time to stop complaining and time to take action.
NJ could lose it's growing wine industry if the state Assembly and Senate do not take action immediately. This would me the loss of hundreds of jobs, dozens of business, and most likely destruction of some of the loveliest farm land around. You can let your opinion be known regarding Direct Shipping of NJ wines by checking out UnCork NJ and the Garden State Wine Growers Association. Please take a moment to read their information and to let your State representatives know that you support NJ wineries and Direct Shipping.

Nollaig Shona Dhuit (Merry Christmas) agus
Laethanta Saoire shona (Happy Holidays)
Dear ,
I love this time of year. It doesn't matter what you're celebrating, it's the time of family gathering and sharing and celebrating the year that has gone, and the potential of the year that is to come. I love seeing a sparkle in someone's eye when you've found just the right gift. It's the season of the heart.
Cindy and I wish you a very wonderful, fun-filled Yule time. May the magic of the season lighten your heart and brighten your spirit.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your life,
Joanne and Cindy
