How Naomi and Zoey Beat the Monsters
Orbert the fuzzy monster

Naomi and Zoey were brave and adventurous little girls And they were very, very smart. They knew that sometimes their adventures brought with them some Monsters that lurked under the bed or in the closet. It made it very hard to go to sleep.

Luckily their mommy knew a potion maker who could help them. This lady asked the plants which would best help protect the girls from the monsters.

Lavender, Neroli, Melissa and sweet Vanilla answered her call. She placed them into a bottle together where they danced and played and created a light and lovely Ceo Brionglóid (Dream Mist) called

Naomi & Zoey's Monster Cuir o Dhoras. Their mommy sprayed this beautiful fragrance under the beds and around the closets before Naomi and Zoey went to sleep. She even sprayed a little on their pillows! It made them so relaxed and happy that they slept and dreamed of playing in the sunshine. And there were no more monsters!

PS - the mommy and the potion maker like to use it, too!

Bountiful Blues

Summer sweeps in and starts filling our senses with color and light and amazingly yummy goodness. One of the early season fruits is the healthy powerhouse - the Blueberry!

 Mmmmmm Blueberries

These little, sweet and tart treasures pack a mighty health punch. They are rich in antioxidants, manganese, vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin K, Lutein + zeaxanthin and trace elements of so many more. And tasty, too!

In case you didn't know - the domesticated blueberry came in to being right here in New Jersey. Elizabeth White, a young woman whose grandfather owned and ran a hugely prosperous cranberry bog, convinced a leading scientist, Dr. Frederick V. Coville, to conduct his blueberry research at their farm. With Elizabeth's help and insight, Dr. Coville developed the first domesticated blueberry crops - and a baby blue giant was born!

We getting into the Blueberry festive spirit by concocting a special line of berry goodness, just for the Whitesbog Annual Blueberry Festival (coming up this Saturday - see below). We'll have Blueberry Lip Balm, Blueberry Blossom Ceo Brionglóid (Dream Mists), Blueberry Sugar Scrub and a few additional treats featuring not only the blueberry fragrance or scent, but also blueberry seed oil. This oil is an outstanding antioxidant for your skin.

If you can't join us the the Blueberry Festival, keep your eye on our blog, our website, or Facebook for when the new blues will be rolling in!

It's Always Better At The Beach

We LOVE the shore. Not the TV version of the New Jersey Shore, but the real New Jersey shore. The sandy beaches, the amazing wild life in the backbays, inlets and estuaries, the beach roses and beach plums, dune grass and beautiful ocean and bay make it a touch of paradise. Every now and then, however, some passing sea animal decides to come for a visit when they really shouldn't. Or they get hurt and need a safe haven for recovery. That's where the Marine Mammal Stranding Center comes in.  The wonderful staff and terrific volunteers assist stranding mammals and sea turtles along all of New Jersey's water ways.

To thank them for all of their work rescuing and rehabilitating our flippered friends, Celtic Chairde is making a donation to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center for every new "Like" on Facebook. We are also donating 10% of all online orders. We'll be doing this through the end of July.

Jumping June

The warm weather is finally here! That great urge to get out and celebrate is part of the reason June is a jam packed month of events, celebrations and special days to get you into the summer spirit. In fact, June is Great Outdoors Month as well as National Camping Month. If you aren't big on travNatirar Park, Somerset NJeling to camp grounds, try a backyard campout on June 25th and celebrate the Great American Backyard Campout!

If camping really isn't your thing - celebrate June Is Perennial Gardening Month.  And June is National Rose Month. Your yard will look wonderful and you'll be a part of the June celebration. Sip on an ice tea while you're admiring your work and you've added National Iced Tea Month to the mix.

Need some tunes to enjoy in the Great Outdoors? Well June is International Surf Music Music Month and National Accordion Appreciation Month.

Of course, some people just don't enjoy the heat of summer (which arrives on June 21st). It is also National Steakhouse Month. A lovely dinner out is always a treat.

If you enjoying reading, sit down and be proud. June is National Bathroom Reading Month!

.Let the Summer Begin!

Dear ,

Happy Summer Solstice! Today is the official first day of summer, the longest stretch of daylight of the year.

It's a busy time - tending the garden, harvesting, creating products, and attending fairs and festivals.  And the usual work and cleaning and family and such. Ah, summer - exhausting, invigorating, overwhelming and encouraging all at the same time.

Take some time to go out and enjoy the sun and the fireflies and the wonderful madness that is summer, creating the memories that will warm you through the colder days to come.

Ghrianstad Sona  - Happy Solstice!
