Mintingle Toes Foot Scrub Brightens and Soothes Tired Feet
Thomas Edison said that "Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration." Sometimes the inspiration comes from your perspiration!
I tend to have very sweaty feet. And after a day of walking around in new shoes, my tootsies were not only sweaty but sore and tired. I started thinking about what I could do to give them a break - besides just putting them up while I watch TV. My thoughts wandered to summer and the shore, and how refreshing it was to sit on the dock, splashing my toes in the cool salty water. That's when the inspiration hit.
I rummaged through my herb books and sorted through my supplies. Checked some resources. Mixing and pouring, I came up with a refreshing treat for tired tootsies - Mintingle Toes Foot Scrub!
Bolivian Pink Salt and Dead Sea Salt exfoliate and help draw out toxins while good old Epson Salts work to relax sore muscles. A combination of Rosehip Seed Oil, Jojoba and other oils aid in absorbing the beneficial ingredients while helping to heal damaged skin.A burst of menthol refreshes and also helps to relax your muscles. A careful selection of essential oils, including Yarrow, Spearmint, Rosemary and others, sooth itchiness, kill bacteria, and aid circulation. These oils also have anti-inflammatory, fungicidal and anti-bacterial properties. That's squeezing a lot of power into a little container.
My favorite way to use this new creation is to set up a warm pan of water for soaking my feet. First, I give my feet a nice scrub with Mintingle Toes, making sure to work all the way up to my ankles. Then, after being nicely scrubbed, I put them into the water and let the oil and salts continue to do their work. Ahhh! It's lovely. Now this is only my experience, but I did notice that my feet didn't seem to be quite as sweaty the next day, and I definitely had a real bounce in my step.
Mintingle Toes Foot Scrub is now available. An 8 ounce jar is $10.00, 4 ounces is $6.00. To order, please email us at celticchairde@optonline.net.

Let the Spring Cleaning Commence
In this tentative economy, more and more people are looking for ways to economize. With spring ready to burst forth, we want to throw open the windows and clean out the musty winter.
Some simple ingredients you probably have around the house, a dash of herbs, and you can get freshness going without hazardous chemicals - and save some money while you're at it!
Easy Carpet Deodorizer Sprinkle plain baking soda on rugs or upholstery. Let sit for 10 to 30 minutes, then vacuum. To add some extra punch, take a large jar and fill with baking soda. Add a few drops of lemon or orange essential oil, then cover and shake. Let sit for at least 24 hours before using. If you don't have essential oil, you can add dried lemon rind or dried orange rind and let sit for at least a week. The baking soda will then be infused with the citrus scent and add an extra uplifting note when sprinkled and vacuumed.
Super Shiny Windows The sun is shining longer - so let it brighten up your home. Yes, the newspaper trick actually works. Wash your windows and use crumbled newspaper (black ink only) to wipe them dry. Spray those windows with:
Juice from one fresh lemon
2 cups water or club soda
1/2 teaspoon peppermint essential oil (optional)
1 teaspoon cornstarch Combine this in a spray bottle and use as usual. You can purchase inexpensive spray bottles at drug and craft stores. If you are reusing an old spray bottle, make sure it is thoroughly and completely cleaned out and dried before reusing.
